Introduction II
We begin in the Name of ALLAH, the Blessed Who revealed the Truth on His last of the Messengers and Prophets, Muhammad, on whom be peace and lasting blessings. Here, in this section, we will acknowledge this truth from the Holy Quran that it is Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, who since the ages of time had been awaited by scores of centuries. It is he who has been called in the Holy Quran as the guide to all humankind, completing the series of the Messengers and Prophets, who came before him in history.
Furthermore, we will in this chapter, proportionate to catch a few glimpses of Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, from the Holy Quran wherein he is called as the Mercy for all creation and guide for all humankind. It is the Religion of Truth, ‘Islam’, as a follower and preacher of which he had been sent, so were the Prophets, who came before him in history.
Again, it is the Divine proclamation that accords Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, to be raised in the most denigrated period of human history to guide and regulate their conduct towards the way of truth and salvation, as the final Prophet and Messenger with the Religion of Truth, the Religion of our forefather Abraham, on whom be peace; who was not a Jew, neither a Christian nor a polytheist but a true Muslim, the hater of idolatry, the one who submitted his whole self to One Living God, ALLAH.
Here again, we will acknowledge that it is with Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, that Heaven had spoken one final time and provided him with an Eternal Divine Quran, which was to supersede the heavenly Books that came before it. We will even accord that he is the source of solace and comfort for all people and for all the generations to come. Obeying him, is to obey ALLAH, blessing him is to praise ALLAH, loving him is to love ALLAH, this is what the Divine Quran has clearly and evidently acknowledged in its pure terms: “And (O ye!) Obey ALLAH and the Messenger (Muhammad, on whom be peace), that ye may find mercy” – (Quran 3:132).
