IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL
A Few Glimpses of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from the Holy Quran
After the lapse of centuries, when mankind crept deep into the dark tunnel of ignorance, ALLAH, the most merciful revealed the Noble Quran on His last Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad (on whom be peace) for the guidance of all humankind (3:164; 4:79). Thus, ALLAH says, “We have without doubt sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption)” – (15:9).
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the Apostle of ALLAH and Seal of all the Prophets, who since the ages of time was awaited by scores of centuries (4:170). His name ‘Muhammad’ means, the ‘Most Glorious’ (47:2), and ‘Ahmad’, stands for the ‘Most Praised’ (61:6). He is the Noor, the sacred light sent by ALLAH for the guidance of His creation (5:15). ALLAH, the Creator of the worlds blesses him (33:56), He sent him as the Mercy for all the worlds (21:107).
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) came in the most degenerated period of human history proclaiming the pure Monotheism and urging mankind to worship none but One Living God, ALLAH (72:20). As further to which the Divine proclamation confirms us: “Say (O Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace): Shall I take a guardian besides ALLAH, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds (others) and is not (Himself) fed. Say: I am commanded to be the first who submits himself, and you should not be of the polytheists“ (6:14). “O mankind! Serve your Lord (only) Who created you and those before you so that you may guard (against evil)” – (2:21).
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the last and the final Prophet for the guidance of all humankind (33:40). He is the one for whose coming Prophet Abraham (Peace Be Upon Him) prayed (2:129); and of whom Jesus the son of Mary (Peace Be Upon Him) gave the glad tidings (61:6). ALLAH Himself bears witness to the fact that Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), was mentioned in the Scriptures of the men of old, in the Torah and in the Gospel (7:157). ALLAH Himself asked all the Prophets to believe in him (3:81). He is the Prophet with proven prophecies (30:1-6); confirms the previous (Prophetic) Messengers of ALLAH (37:37). He was mentioned among the greatest Prophets (33:7). He was given the knowledge of the unseen what ALLAH pleases to reveal him (3:179) and rewarded by ALLAH (68:3).
