« بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ »
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
I begin in the Name of ALLAH. The Lord of Mercy. The Giver of Mercy.
« اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ »
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil-‘alamin
All praise belongs to ALLAH, Lord of all that exists.
« الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِۙ »
Ar-Rahmanir-Rahim
The Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy.
« مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِؕ »
Maliki yawmid-din
Master of the Day of Judgement.
« اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُؕ »
Iyyaka na’budu wa iyyaka nasta’in
You alone we serve and You alone we ask for help.
« اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَۙ »
Ihdinas-siratal mustaqim
Guide us on the straight path.
« صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ۠ »
Sirat alladhina an’amta ‘alayhim ghairil maghdubi ‘alayhim wa lad-dallin
The path of those whom You have favoured, not of those who have incurred Your anger, nor of those who have gone astray.
