Introduction
The greatest hope of all the religious groups for which they have waited for scores of centuries with a dogma of their own religious books, which witnessed the glory and majesty of that personality called ‘Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Unto Him)’, have certainly been fulfilled when he did finally appear on the stage of the history.
Since the beginning of human history and throughout the era of the Divine revelations, men at different places and of different ages have been promised by the Almighty ALLAH that He would send His Universal Messenger, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad Ibna Abdullah (Peace Be Unto Him), along with an Eternal and Inspired Divine revelation called the “Holy Quran” for the guidance of entire human race, which would supersede the ancient revelations (that have, over centuries tragically suffered a heavy distortion).
It is so distinct and unmistakable, so clear and vivid, so sound and profound that many a sincere Jews and Christians, Sabians and Persians, Hindus and Buddhists were more than happy and glad to receive the last Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Unto Him), when he finally did arrive on the stage of the history on the dawn of the blessed day of the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
On the very moment of his coming into the world, a celestial light illumined the surrounding country and the newborn baby, raising his eyes to the heaven, exclaimed: ‘God is great! There is no God but God, and I am His Prophet.’
The sacred fire of Zoroaster, which was guarded by the Magi, and which had burned without interruption for over a thousand years, was suddenly extinguished and all the idols in the world fell down.1
Perhaps over the passage of time and religious antagonism many well-known and benchmark verses of the Bible of the Jews and the Christians, Zend Avesta of the Persians, Vedas of the Hindus were misinterpreted and mistranslated to misguide men from the way of truth by the misanthropists.
However, in this study, humble and sincere efforts have been made to elucidate those sound and profound verses of the Bible, which may serve as a signpost to our serious and noble readers.
The comprehensible message and astounding cryptogram of the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Unto Him) are still seen in the Bible despite its textual corruption and composition over the centuries.2
Well, ALLAH Himself bears witness to the fact that they recognise Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as they recognise their own sons.
“Those whom We have given the Scripture recognise him (Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him) as they recognise their (own) sons; (as for) those who have lost their souls, they will not believe” – (Quran 6:20).
It is obvious that as we unearth the current version of the Torah and the Gospel with an ease we will find him described either by his name “Muhammad” and “Ahmad” or by his characteristics.
