The seekers of truth, be certain of the fact that Prophet Muhammad (on whom be peace) was the promised Prophet and the awaited saviour whom the Jews called the King Messiah and the coming of whom was prophesied by all the Prophets even before his arrival like Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them), and that he was mentioned in the Old and New Testaments. And yet the far east Indian scriptures, never fail to mention ‘his name and praises’ which certainly constitute a miracle pertaining to him and confirmation of his Prophethood. Rabbis confirm that the Prophets wrote only in regards to the future advent of the long-awaited Prophet: Rabbi Chiyya ben-Abba said in Rabbi Yochanan’s name: ‘All the Prophets prophesied [the good things] only for the days of the Messiah’ – (Sanhedrin 99a; B’rakhot 34b).
His advent, as a true master, at large was awaited by the entire humanity whom they found mentioned in their own Scriptures. With reference to the above verse of the Holy Quran (3:81), ALLAH made it clear to all the Prophets (Peace be upon them) that His last Messenger will come to them and certainly this has been already confirmed in the Scriptures which were revealed before him like the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel in which they will find him vividly described.
Subsequently, ALLAH says, “Ye shall believe in him and ye shall help him” declaring the fact and reality of the necessity to believe, to help and to follow the last Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). As avowed by Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him), “Believe me that I have seen him and have done him reverence, even as every Prophet hath seen him: seeing that of his spirit God giveth to them prophecy” – (The Gospel of Barnabas, trans. Lonsdale and Laura Ragg [Oxford: Clarendon Press, London, 1907], Chapter: 44).
Finally, when the Messenger of ALLAH, Muhammad (on whom be peace) came, he confirmed what was earlier sent down in the Torah and the Gospel – (See: Jane Dammen McAuliffe et al. With Reverence for the Word: Medieval Scriptural Exegesis in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, Oxford University Press US, 2002, p.448).

honoured him. Perhaps, for some it became the day of grief to such an extent that they wish to display their devotion to Imam Hussain by inflicting knife or razor wounds upon their chests to reminisce his suffering. Such practice is strictly forbidden in Islam.
Well, the day of 10th of Muharram (Yaumul Ashura) was also the day when ALLAH sent down Prophet Adam to earth and accepted his repentance after his exile from paradise. It was the day when ALLAH raised Prophet Enoch to heaven and saved Prophet Noah and his companions in the ark. It is on this day that ALLAH saved Prophet Abraham from fire and spoke directly to Prophet Moses and gave him His Commandments. On this very day, Prophet Job was restored to health; Prophet Joseph was reunited with his father; Prophet Jacob’s eyesight was restored; and Prophet Jonah was taken out from the belly of the fish. It is the very day when ALLAH saved Prophet Moses and the Children of Israel and drowned the Pharaoh and his army into the sea. It was the day when the repentance of Prophet David was accepted and the kingdom of Prophet Solomon was restored. It was also the day when Prophet Jesus, the son of Mary was saved from the infidels and was raised to heaven. Prophet-Saint Jesus Christ is still alive today with his body and soul and he will also surely descend on this very day of 10th of Muharram, and will vindicate Islam and will bring peace and justice into the world.
