Messiah, means “one anointed”, but universally it is exercised in Jewish text to mean “the saviour” and “Prophet like Moses” (Deut. 18:18), and very often also called as “redeemer” and “saviour”. As ALLAH says of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), “Certainly ALLAH conferred a great favour upon the believers when He raised among them an Apostle (Muhammad, on whom be peace) from among themselves, reciting to them His revelations and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error” – (Quran 3:164). “We sent thee (O Muhammad, on whom be peace) not but as a mercy for all the worlds” – (Quran 21:107).
– King Messiah: Well, the rise of Islam and the coming of the King-Messiah i.e. the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as the mercy for the Israelites and all the nations has clearly been said. Also in the words of Rabbi Alan Brill, Ph.D., “The rise of Islam itself is mentioned in various rabbinic works”.
“An early eyewitness account to the Arabic conquest, The Secrets of Rabbi Shimon bar Yohoi, connects the conquest to an acute era of apocalyptic wars. The text praises Islam for saving Jews from the hands of the Christians: “The Holy One will bring the Kingdom of Ishmael to save you from evil. According to His will, He will raise over them a Prophet [Muhammad, on whom be peace]. They will conquer the land and restore it to greatness…”
“They (Ishmael) are a deliverance for Israel like the deliverance (associated with) the ‘one mounted upon an ass’ (Zech. 9:9)….[Ishmael kingdom, i.e., Islam] will repair their breaches and (fix) the breaches of the Temple…build…a place of prayer upon the site of the ‘foundation stone,’ as the Scripture says: ‘and set your nest on the rock’ (Num. 24:21)” – (Judaism and World Religions. Palgrave-Macmillan, New York, 2012, pp.145-177).
The history of the world changed its course with the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), from the darkest period of human history to the glowing and glorious period of human history.
14. Ruhul Haqq – the Spirit of Truth: Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is indeed the “Spirit of Truth” and ALLAH gives assurance of it as He says: “If anyone desires a religion (O Muhammad, on whom be peace) other than Islam (submission to ALLAH’s will), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost. How shall ALLAH Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad, on whom be peace) was True and that Clear Signs had come unto them? But ALLAH guides not a people unjust” – (Quran 3:85-6).
– According to Zohar, King Messiah holds the title of “Spirit of truth” because “The Spirit of God shall alight upon him” – (See: Daniel Chanan Matt. Zohar, the Book of Enlightenment, Paulist Press, Mahwa, New Jersey, 1983, p.67).
