15. Ruhul Qist – the Spirit of Justice: Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), verily is the “Spirit of Justice” and indeed, by nature he is truthful and righteous, glorious and tremendous, humble and sublime, correct and honest, kind and merciful, caring and helpful. Verily, ALLAH revealed in the Quran to His beloved: “And for every nation there is a Messenger. And when their Messenger cometh (on the Day of Judgment) it will be judged between them fairly, and they will not be wronged. And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful? Say (O Muhammad, on whom be peace): I do not control for myself any harm, or any benefit except what ALLAH pleases; every nation has a term; when their term comes, they shall not then remain behind for an hour, nor can they go before (their time)” –(Quran 10:47-49).
“Say (O Muhammad, on whom be peace): Have ye thought: When His doom cometh unto you as a raid by night, or in the (busy) day; what is there of it that the guilty ones desire to hasten? Would ye then believe in it at last, when it actually cometh to pass? (It will then be said to them): ‘Ah! Now? And ye wanted (aforetime) to hasten it on!’ At length will be said to the wrong-doers: ‘Taste ye the enduring punishment! Ye get but the recompense of what ye earned!’ They seek to be informed by thee: ‘Is that true?’ Say (O Muhammad, on whom be peace): ‘Aye! By my Lord! It is the very Truth! And ye cannot frustrate it!'” – (Quran 10:50-53).
– Well, it was known to Rabbis that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) will be truthful, honest and righteous and they knew him as the King Messiah and the awaited Prophet who upheld the title of “Spirit of Justice”. For they had been taught about his coming from centuries before his arrival and Isaiah also prophesied of him and the Book of Zohar says of him: “He shall judge the poor with righteousness” – (Chanan Matt, op, cit., 1983, p.67). According to Messianic interpretation of Zohar, this statement includes that the kingdom of Messiah will give a new life to Jewish world and to the destitute nations.
Indeed, it all happened as prophesied with the coming of the true Prophet-King-Messiah, Muhammad (on whom be peace). Even Jewish history and its occidentals had to accept this reality.
“From the time of Islam’s birth” avows Kabbalah, the Mystic Quest in Judaism “in the seventh century…Jewish mysticism flourished within the Islamic realm. In fact, the relationship between Judaism and Islam in this period was pivotal in the history of both the religions. The Prophet Muhammad [emphasis added]…wished to bring about the conversion of the Arabian Jewish tribes. He believed that Islam was the legitimate heir to the Biblical calling and the fulfillment of the Hebrew Monotheistic mission…”
“The Jews’ virtue derived from the fact that they were “the People of the Book,” an appellation that was coined by the Koran itself and adopted later by the Jews. They were treated as a protected minority with property and religious rights under Islamic rule.”
