Islam survives on this face of the earth. As said earlier, it is the pillar of faith of the Islam to help the poor and the needy. Indeed, in Islam he had been asked by ALLAH Himself to proclaim the message that if one needs to come near to ALLAH, one needs to help the poor, widows, orphans, needy, afflicted, those who cry out for help, those who had been wronged for nothing and so on. As ALLAH exhorts him to say to His servants, “They ask you (O Muhammad, on whom be peace) as to what they should spend. Say: Whatever wealth you spend, it is for the parents and the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, and whatever good you do, ALLAH surely knows it” (Quran 2:215).
The system of Zakat is so universal and perfect that it can actually save the whole world from perishing. It can save those millions of lives, which has otherwise been lost for nothing but for poverty and not having even the basic needs like drinking water and food. For sure, Islam if universally followed and practiced as taught by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), it can remove every affliction from the earth and make the earth the abode of Heaven. All will be equal, poor will be no more, affliction will be seized, joy will flourish, people will love one another irrespective of their faith and colour. Indeed, the world has seen such days wherever and whenever Islam is practiced in its true meaning. When Islam began forth like a wind of the Lord from the Desert of Arabia from the Hands of the Prophet MUHAMMAD/AHMAD (Peace Be Upon Him), it simply overturned those lowest ebbs of the society to the glowing light of flourishment as prophesied in Hosea 13:15.
– Well, Psalm prophesied of him beforehand: “For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence for precious is their blood in his sight” – (Psalm 72:12-14). And Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) also said of him: “Makarios is the man who cares intensely for the sufferings, and for the sorrows, and for the needs of others…for out of his sorrow he will find the joy of God!” – (Matthew 5:4). 46. One Who was Blessed by the People: Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is the prophet who was and who will be always blessed by the people. It is not only that he was blessed by the people but ALLAH Himself sent peace unto him and host of angels are busy in sending salutation and blessings of ALLAH upon him. As ALLAH says in the Quran: “Surely ALLAH and His angels bless the Prophet (Muhammad, on whom be peace); O you who believe! Call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with all respect” – (33:56). It is incumbent on every believer not only to believe in him and love him but also to beseech ALLAH to bless him. Indeed, thousands of generations passed away blessing him and indeed till the world last, for sure, the coming generation or generations will also
